Note	Migrated to the United States sometimes in the earlier 1750s, and was a resident of Middlesex, NJ. By 1758 he lived in Fairfax County, VA and moved to Louden County, VA by 1771. He moved back to NJ in 1774 where he remained until 1785 when he moved to Orange County, NC. He may have had as many as thirteen children. The above is from information in our family. I have also seen sources on the internet that shows six children from Mary Roake and six children from Mary Williams, as well as other combinations. One source stated that the six children from Roake were all born in Ireland and the six from Williams were born in the USA.
